Happy Hunger Games

I'm still EXCITED writing this post!!!! My girly friends and I got ADVANCE tickets to a showing of the HUNGER GAMES Thurseday Night on the 22, BEFORE it showed at midnight! It was so FUN to go with the girls...although I had to deal with a pouting husband who was a little bitter who couldn't come with :( I felt so sad when I had to leave him at home behind, but he managed hahaha! Like everyone else, Sydney, Janelle, Steff, and Ihave been looking forward to this movie for a LONG time! All 4 of us have read the books, so of course we were more critical of the movie then maybe someone who hadn't, but We all thought that they still did a great job with it, and that it was DEFINITELY BETTER quality than the Twilight movies!

I feel like I have a lot of stuff to catch up on but I guess it's really not that much. To make this easier on me and you, a pic and a short bit on each thing will have to suffice.

Story's 1st Birthday!

Our friends Shellena and Carson's little girl Story Rae turned 1, so I drove to Provo for the party! The theme was Dr. Seuss and it turned out so cute! I wish I would have gotten pics of all the cute decor. Even all the food was Dr. Seuss themed. Story really wasn't into her cake as much as she was into the plastic cake topper! 

Eventually Shellena just started rubbing the cake all over story to make her look like she really dug into the cake! hahaha It was so fun to see them! I miss hanging out with Shellena all the time!

I started this cleanse I found on Pinterest because it looked like it would be good to try. I'd never done one before so I didn't know what to expect really. Basically I had to pee every ten minutes. :) The first day you have to eat all fruit..no bananas, and drink 10 glasses of water. Well I drove to the grocery store to get everything I would need for the cleanse and somehow I still ended up bringing home 3 boxes of girl scout cookies. I was good and waited till the cleanse  was over to eat some, but Eric devoured the whole box of thin mints by then. Bahahaha

The fruit part wasn't too bad and I've been trying to eat more of it ever since the cleanse.

Making it all available, (having it all chopped and rinsed) made eating fruit easier for me.

Last Saturday night Eric and I went to Wiseguys...It's a really fun comedy club and we had a blast. It was something different for us to do....which I've been hinting at for a while now to Eric. You can only do dinner and a movie so many times before you need a change. Eric and I switch off taking turns planning our date nights, and he did really good that night!! :) Lachlan Patterson was the headliner comedian that night and he was so funny!

You could order food and drinks for the show...I was on my cleanse at the time and all I could eat was fruit so I brought my food in a ziploc while Eric ordered chicken fingers and french fries...talk about torture!

We also had a few visitors last weekend and I had to post this picture cause I thought it was so cute! Eric is so cute with his new nephew Rhett, I can't wait till we start having babies!! He'll be such a good dad!!!

March 14 was PI day! you know 3.14 kinda pi! hahaha So Eric and I joined in on all the pi and went to THE PIE Pizza Cafe for dinner.

It's actually a really cool place and they were much busier than usual so we sat upstairs on the second level!

Well thats all for now...I wish I had something cool to post for St. Patrick's Day but all I did was go to the Doctor and run errands....Eric worked and so we really didn't do anything special! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Girls Night

It's Friday night and Eric is working late as usual! I was bored and my friends called me and said they were going to Texas Roadhouse, so I said "I'm coming with!" It was fun just hanging with the girls! I am so glad to have them here in Utah with me!!! They keep me sane I swear! I love them sooooo much! We had fun just chatting and catching up...we usually go hot tubbing at least once a week so we catch up regularly, but it was nice to get out of the house. Living in the same apartment complex as my best friends as it's perks! :) Love these girls!

9 Months

So 9 Months Married and we are still going strong! Married life is go GREAT! I truly believed I married the most thoughtful and sweetest man on earth. He treats me like a princess and I LOVE that! He would do anything for me, and knowing that as well as supporting each other in all our decisions we make is what makes us so strong. We don't always agree about everything but we are great at communicating, and are honest, and respectful of each other. I love this man and I'm so happy to spend the rest of eternity proving to him that I am the LUCKY ONE, not vice versa. Last night Eric and I went bowling to celebrate our little milestone. I took a few shots of the night....and I wanted to post so everyone knew...that I beat Eric!!! Yep it was pretty FANTASTIC!
